My submissive journey for the week of August 24th - 30th.
This week was a nice and generally active one, not only with my
lessons, but also with activities during the week. I feel that I've been
able to finally move forwards to my new journey that I've been on
for the past two months, since the loss of my Dominant, Sir Imran.
I've had a excellent and adventurous week.
A few of the things I learned more about this week were........
Thinks that all submissive's should know about and they are :
1. Always be respectful
and considerate
towards everybody, especially
your Dominant. Make your Dominant proud.
2. Carrying out orders
quickly and efficiently is highly valued.
3. Trust your Dominant. A good Dominant will have a vision in mind for
what they want for you and sometimes only they will see or know the
bigger
picture.
4. Keep an open mind. Be sure to
communicate to your Dominant about
the new things you do like.
5. Pursuing the path of
submission is a journey of self-discovery. You will
learn a lot about yourself.
Embrace it.
6. You need to control
your emotions and choice of words to excel in
submission.
7. Make sure any and all
of your health problems are known to your
Dominant.
8. Don't keep issues or
negative feelings bottled up inside you. Use proper
submissive
etiquette and good manners and speak to your Dominant
about your feelings.
9. Don't shut down your
brain. It comes in handy when serving your
Dominant.
10. Don't give up when
the going gets tough. Find the strength within you.
11. Use your safe words
if you feel the need. Safe words are cherished keys
of communication
between the Dominant and submissive.
12. Keep your attitude
positive and glass-half-full, and your experience as a
submissive will be more
fun and much more rewarding.
Something that is rarely discussed about is Aftercare For Dominant's and
Dom Drop !!!!
Do you know what Dom drop is ? What is Dominant guilt ? What is
Dominant fatigue ? What do I do if a Dominant needs aftercare ?
These were some of the questions that I learned about this week and it was
an eye opener for me. Us submissive's think that our Dominant's are all
tough and strong and always in control. We forget to remember that they are
human too and sometimes they need aftercare just as much as submissive's
do and Dom drop. Dom drop is an experience with similar
characteristics of
depression that occurs after an intense SM scene. It is
caused by adrenaline and endorphin crashes after the adrenaline and endorphin
spikes that may occur
during a scene. The problem is that so little has been
written about Dom drop
that kinksters don’t recognize it when it occurs, or
realize the need for it. One
would think that after care is for the
bottoms and submissive’s, but it’s also for
the tops, sadists and Dominants.
Tops go through similarly intense changes in
their body chemistry, leading to
the potential shock-like emotional and physical
crashes. In the case of Dominants
and tops consider that you often have been
expending a great deal of not only
physical energy but mental energy as well,
and keeping yourself in check with
the responsibilities of your submissive’s
state of mind as well as their
physical condition. Do not discount the drain this
can have on a person both
physically and mentally. It is not uncommon for
Dominants to find themselves
having “Dom drop” without recognizing the
symptoms for what they are. It can be
manifested in an emotional drop,
lethargy as well as physical exhaustion up and
above what would be considered
“normal” for the type of play involved. It can
last a short time or days in the same
way that sub-space can have lingering
effects.
I learned a new Command " Bara "
The submissive lies on her belly, face down
and turns her face to the left,
she crosses her wrists behind her back,
outstretching her legs and crossing
her ankles as well. Bara is a binding
position. The word Bara is suspected
as Gorean word for "belly".
This position is used for a variety of reasons, sometimes as punishment.
After all of the different topics for discussion and learning about,
it was time to write an Essay about My Fantasy. and everyone
has a fantasy that plays out in their head and sometimes
it plays out in their dreams.
This one this submissive will leave you guessing on what it could be !!!!
